HON. DENISE E. BARNETT is a Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Tennessee (Memphis), appointed to the Bankruptcy Court on November 8, 2021. Prior to her appointment, Judge Barnett was trial attorney with the Department of Justice, United States Trustee Program, in Tampa, Florida (2002-2021). Judge Barnett was an attorney in private practice (1997-2002) and served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable George L. Proctor, Chief Judge Emeritus, United States Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division (1995-1997).
