Paul A. Randolph

PAUL A. RANDOLPH has been the Acting United States Trustee for Region 8 (Tennessee and Kentucky) since his appointment by the U.S. Attorney General in April 2018, while also serving as the Assistant U.S. Trustee for the Eastern District of Missouri since 2004. He was a Trial Attorney for more than 14 years in the U.S. Trustee’s office in Phoenix, Arizona, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for bankruptcy fraud matters, and the Acting Assistant U.S. Trustee for the Peoria office of Region 10. Mr. Randolph received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.S. with Honors from Lindenwood University located in Missouri. He was engaged in the private practice of law with a large Arizona law firm prior to joining the U.S. Trustee. Mr. Randolph has engaged in outreach and community service during his career including work on the boards of the Haven of Grace Women’s Shelter in St. Louis, the Mound City Bar Association, the non-profit Cinema St. Louis, and EMPACT-SPC crisis and behavioral center in Arizona.  Paul was Chair of the 400-plus member Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Arizona in the early 2000s. He also is an active member of Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in St. Louis, having served as the Church Moderator and in other leadership positions.  Mr. Randolph works on several national working groups for the USTP including its Diversity and Inclusion Working Group. His recognitions include a U.S. Department of Justice Pro Bono Service Award and a distinguished member award from Region VIII of the National Bar Association.  He is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy related matters.
